This single use structure was rehabilitated by the building owner to create a mezzanine in 2007. The Abbey Rd Group – an assortment of ex-patriots from all over the world – leased the space in January and have been doing fast track construction since day one. Unlike many Irish Pubs the design intent is to have an open and comfortably light-filled space that does not scream of contemporary fashionability. Abbey Rd is a bar that intends to have people socialize in comfort and be around for a long time. The bar will have a large selection of beers and a good menu. The space features a variety of imported slate, Italian solid porcelain tiles, recycled pine wood, and original brick.
